Course curriculum

Reading and Listening Skills

Students will be able to understand instructions, schedules, safety notices, and training documents in German. Listening skills include workplace briefings, colleague conversations, and employer interview questions.

Practical Communication

By the end of this Ausbildung German class, students will be able to handle workshop and workplace conversations, write CVs and application emails, and take part in mock employer interviews. Core workplace German is then extended with vocabulary for your field — nursing, IT, hospitality, trades, and more.

Teaching Methods

Doitsu – The German Language Institute uses a mix of live instructor-led classes, workplace role play, application writing labs, and mock Ausbildung interviews. This ensures every skill — reading, writing, listening, and speaking — is taught in an engaging, job-ready way, rather than through rote memorization alone.

Language Targets for Ausbildung

Most Ausbildung pathways ask for Goethe B1 or B2. This course builds the workplace German, interview language, and certificate level you need for vocational training applications in Germany.

Typical requirement: Goethe B1 or B2, depending on the trade and employer. Passing score on Goethe modules is 60 out of 100 (60%).
